Teachers' Day on November 24th, which Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk dedicated to teachers, was celebrated with a special program organized at our Faculty. The program was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Ümit İncekara, and Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Birol Soysal.

The program started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem and continued with the speech of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Bedir, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports. Bedir emphasized the importance of teachers and stated that education is the cornerstone of society.

Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, who took the floor at the end of the program, emphasized the key role of teachers in shaping the society and expressed her respect and gratitude to them.

The event, which was enlivened by the live music performance of the students, continued with the presentation titled "Who is this Teacher?".

In the last part of the program, thanks and gifts were presented to our professors. The students of our faculty presented specially prepared gifts to show their gratitude to their teachers.

The November 24 Teachers' Day program was held in a friendly atmosphere among the participants and strengthened the bond between teachers and students. The program drew attention to the importance of education and reminded once again the respect and love for teachers.
