Erzurum Technical University Journal of Social Sciences Institute (ETUSBED) founded in 2005 by Murat Küçükuğurlu who is the Institute Director of the period, within the body of Erzurum Technical University,   Institute of Social Sciences took its place in the TR index as of March 9, 2023.

The first editors of ETUSBED, which took its place in TR INDEX after eight years of activity, were Prof. Dr. Ugur Akbulut, Prof. Dr. Kemal Bakir and Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Kaya. In 2018, Prof. Dr. With the appointment of Yusuf Ziya Sümbüllü, the editorship of the journal was Assoc. Dr. Mehmet Akif Gözitok and Assoc. Dr. Oğuzhan Ekinci started to run it. In this process, the journal was accepted to Dergipark, one of the important academic publication platforms of our country, and started to be scanned by some national and international indexes.

As of the 11th issue published in October 2020, the editorial duty of the journal is Dr. Instructor Member Murat Bahadır and Dr. Instructor It was entrusted to its member Mustafa Bingöl. During this period, many arrangements were made for the development of the journal and its scanning by other indexes, and the journal took its place in international indexes such as ERIH PLUS and DRJI. In 2023, Assoc. Dr. Zeynep Karaca and Dr. Instructor ETÜSBED, which continues its publication life under the editorship of its member Murat Kılıç, has reached the status of " Magazine Scanned in International Field Indexes " with the start of being scanned in ERIHPLUS and MLA, which is the international field index, and has started to be indexed by TRDİZİN, one of the most important indexes of our country, as of March 9, 2023.
