Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi and Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak visited the Cristal Entrepreneurship Center, an innovation center affiliated with Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ), and conducted observations.
The ETU Crystal Entrepreneurship Center, which supports entrepreneurs in transforming technology and innovation-oriented business ideas into high-value enterprises that create brand value and qualified employment, hosted Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi. The center aims to facilitate the establishment of numerous new businesses that will generate economic added value in Erzurum and throughout Turkey by supporting entrepreneurs from the idea stage to the market.
Erzurum Governor Çiftçi visited ETÜ to get information about the activities carried out by the Kristal Entrepreneurship Center and to meet with the entrepreneurs who receive free mentoring support within the center. The visit was attended by the Governor, the Director of Erzurum Provincial National Education, the Director of Erzurum Science Industry and Technology, and the Secretary General of the Northeast Anatolia Development Agency.
After Rector Çakmak provided information about the ongoing work to Governor Çiftçi and his accompanying delegation, Assistant Coordinator of the Crystal Entrepreneurship Center, Research Assistant Gürkan Kalınay, provided information about the support offered by the center to entrepreneurs, working areas, workshop facilities, and projects that have started production through commercialization.
