Last year, our space and aviation team Varda SkyTeam which represented our university in Teknofest Rocket Competition in the category of High Altitude 3,000 meters as the 4th team in Turkey achieved a new success. This year, our team, which applied in two different categories at the Teknofest 2020 Rocket Competition, has successfully passed the Preliminary Design Reporting stage in the 3000 meters Medium Altitude Category and the 3rd place in the 3000 meters Medium Altitude Category, and successfully qualified for the finals. More than 500 teams applied to the competition, which will be held in Aksaray rocket trial area under the sponsorship of Roketsan in September.
