The medal rankings have been determined as a result of the competitions organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation in the 2023-2024 term.

Erzurum Technical University (ETU) achieved great success by ranking 2nd in the General Medal Distribution ranking of the Interuniversity Sports Competitions organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation (TUSF) in the 2023-2024 term.

ETU ranked second with 25 gold, 8 silver and 13 bronze medals in the tournaments organized with the participation of 161 universities in the 2023-2024 season.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, who made a statement on the subject, stated that they were very happy with the success achieved and said, “Since the day we took office, we have strived to use our opportunities to the fullest for sports, cultural and artistic activities in addition to our academic and scientific studies. The result we have achieved today is one of the clearest indicators of this. We have had many students from almost all of our faculties, especially our Faculty of Sports Sciences, participate in tournaments in various fields. We have tried to be there for all our athletes throughout the season, regardless of their branch. We shared their efforts, excitement, struggle and enthusiasm. There was almost no tournament we returned empty-handed during the season. During this process, our athletes, teachers and trainers worked with great dedication. On this occasion, I congratulate them once again from the bottom of my heart and wish them continued success. We will continue to be there for sports and athletes,” he said.
