Aerospace Engineering Department  is to Be Opened

In his speech, Rector Bülent Çakmak emphasized that being at the center of production as a university has become a necessity in today's world: “Universities are structures that not only produce knowledge but also use this knowledge for the benefit of society. We aim to go beyond this routine and integrate an education model in which R&D activities are carried out and knowledge is transformed into value into Erzurum and the industry of the region. In this context, approval came from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) to open the Department of Aerospace Engineering, which is one of the steps we have taken. I hope our new department will be beneficial for our university and city”.

Emphasizing that the projects produced in line with the vision determined as a university will continue to be implemented with determination, Rector Bülent Çakmak concluded his words as follows: “We will continue to exchange views with our internal and external stakeholders to encourage production. We continue to produce projects to bring our industry together with the academy. I wish good luck to İSİYAD Erzurum Branch, which was opened with these feelings and thoughts, and wish them to be successful in their work. "
