In accordance with Article 13 of the Higher Education Law published in the Official Gazette dated 24.12.2022 and Articles 2, 3 and 7 of the Presidential Decree No. 3, Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak was reappointed.

Rector Bülent Çakmak, who expressed his great honor and pride in the decision taken, said: “I have been appointed as the Rector of ETU with the appreciation and approval of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. To our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has deemed me worthy of this task, our President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. I would like to thank Erol Özvar, the members of YÖK and everyone who has given their support. During our four-year tenure, we tried to serve our university, our city and our country with all our might. In this process, while we are trying to prepare the young people, who are our future, for the future in the best way with our student-centered management approach, we have made great efforts to bring our university and our city to the position it deserves in academic, scientific, cultural and sportive terms, both nationally and internationally.
