In this context, in order to train a qualified workforce with the qualities demanded by the labor market; ETU, Ataturk University, Erzurum Provincial Directorate of National Education, TOBB and ISKUR signed a protocol aiming to organize vocational trainings in a way that will include combining theoretical and practical trainings in public-private sector cooperation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Mustafa Ciftci stated that the process will be carried out in coordination and said: “The training period will be a maximum of 160 actual days and the participants will be paid at the minimum wage level. Again, during this period, the general health insurance and work accident occupational disease premiums of the participants will be paid by ISKUR. Currently, 27 companies have a request for approximately 500 people and we plan to evaluate their requests as soon as possible and start the training programs. With these training programs, our state will undertake the costs incurred during this period while training the qualified workforce needed by our employers and the labor market and providing them to our employers. After the training is completed, the participants will be employed by the relevant companies. I hope that our cooperation protocol will be beneficial to our city, employers and the labor market.”
