Within the scope of TÜBİTAK "1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program", the scientific evaluation process of the projects proposed to the Research Support Programs Directorate was completed in the second period of 2019. 186 of the 1983 projects submitted to the 1001 program were supported.

 The project of "Experimental Investigation of Pouring Reinforced Concrete Beams in Cold Weather (Winter)" prepared by Civil Engineering Department lecturer Dr. Dilek OKUYUCU was evaluated as worthy to be supported with the code 219M403.In the project, Prof. Dr. İlker KAZAZ and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ferhad BİNGOL are involved in.  

  Within the scope of the project, studies on reinforced concrete manufacturing in cold weather will be observed and the mechanical response of reinforced concrete beams poured in cold weather conditions will be examined experimentally. The project is aimed to produce important information for the extension of the construction season of our region. Young research students from ETU will take part in the project. We congratulate our lecturer and wish her a continued success.
