Yusuf Talay, a 1st year student at Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Faculty of Sports Sciences Coaching Education and Turkish Ski Federation National team athlete, won the bronze medal in the 10 km Free Discipline at the Balkan Cup held in Macedonia.

With the results obtained, Yusuf Talay from ETÜ will represent our country in the ski run at the World Championship, which will be held in Planica Ski Center of Slovenia between February 22 and March 5, 2023.

Making an assessment on the subject, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak stated that he was very happy with the success achieved: Our national athlete Yusuf, who represented our country in the Balkan Cup, made us proud with his successful result. I believe that he will raise our flag by representing our country and university in the best way in the world championship to be held in the upcoming period. I congratulate him and his technical team and wish them continued success.”
