The 20th Winter Deaflympics Olympic Games for the Hearing Impaired will start in Erzurum between 1-12 March 2024, in partnership with Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ).

Futsal competitions at the Olympics, where approximately 1000 athletes from 40 countries will participate in the branches of alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, curling, ice hockey, futsal and chess, will be hosted by ETÜ.

In the organization held at ETÜ Indoor Sports Hall, 12 teams in the men's category and 10 teams in the women's category will compete.
