Erzurum Technical University (ETU), which is taking firm steps towards becoming a "Green Campus" with environmental awareness, has received a "Zero Waste Certificate" by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. ETU, which continues its preparations before the new academic year without slowing down, has been entitled to receive a Zero Waste Certificate by making improvements and arrangements in accordance with the criteria determined by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in indoor and outdoor spaces with the aim of creating a sustainable, green and climate-friendly campus campus. Making statements on the subject, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak drew attention to the issue of sustainability: "At our university, we carry out many activities to increase efficiency and awareness of our environment.In this process, our relevant units and student clubs strive to raise awareness on waste management by organizing events on campus as well as various trainings.As a result of our efforts, we were entitled to receive a "Zero Waste Certificate" within the scope of the Zero Waste Project of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. As ETU, we will continue to move towards our goal of becoming a green campus by using our resources efficiently. I would like to thank all our staff and students who contributed to this process."
