TEKNOFEST, the world's most significant "Aviation, Space and Technology Festival" held in the Black Sea between August 30 and September 4 this year and visited by hundreds of thousands of science and technology enthusiasts, continues at full speed. Erzurum Technical University (ETU) attended the TEKNOFEST 2022 festival held at Samsun Çarşamba Airport; students, technology teams and academicians participated. At the festival, ETUSEM, one of the units of our university, presented the metaverse (virtual reality) experience, one of today's developing technologies, to the participants' knowledge. Participants were informed about the integration of this technology into human life and today's technologies, and presentations were made about the pioneering works of our university in this field. In addition, the Dynamic Aviation Team (DİHA), entitled to compete in the finals within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2022, evaluated the TEKNOFEST processes by providing various information about the rotating wing Quadcopter they produced and the topics that the participants were curious about. In addition, the TULPAR Aviation Team attracted great attention by exhibiting the Fighting Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, which they produced and had the widest wingspan in the category they participated in. In addition, ETU Technology Team, one of the well-established teams of our university, exhibited the satellite it produced within the scope of the CanSat Model Satellite Competition, organized by NASA and which was one of the 10 teams invited from our country. The single parachute system produced by our team received great appreciation from NASA engineers, and the landing system at two different speeds was also introduced.
