Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Coach Education student Adil Misirci won the silver medal in the Turkish Wrestling Championship.

ETU's National Athlete Adil Mısırcı, who competed in the 125 kg freestyle category at the Turkish Wrestling Championship held at Taha Akgul Sports Hall in the capital Ankara between January 23-26, won the silver medal by coming in second in Turkey.

Speaking after the competition, Misirci stated that the success achieved was a result of great efforts and said: “I won the bronze medal in the World Championship between Armies in December 2024. Now we are returning with a silver medal. God willing, I want to win the gold medal in the next championship. I will continue my work for this without a break. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me during this process.”
