Erzurum Technical University (ETU) graduates came together at the event organised by the Career Planning Application and Research Centre (KARPAM).

Today, when education is carried out on remote and online platforms due to the pandemic, the Career Planning and Application Research Centre brought together ETU graduates in a virtual classroom called "KARPAM Blackboard" between 8-19 February.

In the event, where the student years of ETU graduates spent at the university and their employment processes after graduation, information about the job and internship opportunities provided by the "Talent Gate" platform prepared by the Presidency Human Resources Office was shared.

Providing information about the event, ETÜ-KARPAM Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve Sağıroğlu stated “We organised the online alumni meeting led by our President Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak in cooperation with our deans and department heads”. Expressing that she was very pleased with the high participation rate, Sağıroğlu said: “As ETU family, we will continue to meet our graduates frequently”.

Drawing attention to the importance of organising this and similar events in order to support the career planning of our graduates, our President Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak said: “We are holding these meetings to follow our students' career journeys after graduation, to guide them and to come together with our graduates”.

Emphasising that this year's graduate meeting took place online due to the pandemic, President Çakmak concluded his words by saying: “It makes us proud to see graduates of ETU in various business fields of our country, I would like to take this occasion to thank all participants and wish them success in business life”.
