Damla Köse, a first-year student at Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Sports Sciences Faculty Coaching Education Department, brought the second gold medal to Erzurum in a week.

Damla, who broke the Turkish record with a time of 626.8 in the Women's Air Rifle category at the Turkish Inter-University Shooting Championship held in Trabzon between 10-12 April, with a score of 623.5 points at the Air Guns Spring Cup held in Trabzon again between 13-16 April 2023. He once again became the owner of the gold medal by scoring the international threshold score.

Our student Damla Köse, who made a statement after the competition, stated that she was very happy and said: "I recently won the right to participate in the World Inter-University Summer Games, which will be held in Chengdu, China, on behalf of my country. This time, I took my place in our national team for the World Cup, which will be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on May 8, 2023; I will try to represent my university and my country in the best possible way. I would like to thank my Rector, my family, my faculty, my teachers and everyone who supported me, especially my trainer Mustafa Burak Çağlar, who contributed greatly to this happiness.”
