Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Kaan Çırpıcı, a faculty member of the Department of Civil
Engineering at Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Faculty of Engineering and Architecture,
has been accepted as a Full Member of Sigma Xi, one of the world's most prestigious
scientific communities.
Accepted into the ranks of Sigma Xi's full members in recognition of his academic studies,
scientific research, and contributions to his field, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Kaan Çırpıcı has thus
earned the right to take part in this elite scientific network that brings together researchers on
an international level.
Founded in the United States in 1886, Sigma Xi operates as an international honor society that
supports the development of scientific research and brings together researchers from different
disciplines on a common platform. The organization holds a significant position in the
scientific world through its efforts to promote scientific excellence, disseminate research
