Of the thirteen ideas developed, seven ideas that made it to the finals were evaluated by the jury members, including Rector Çakmak. In another session of the event, a workshop themed "STEAM Approaches and New Trends in Adult Education" was held with representatives of public institutions and organizations operating in the field of adult and STEAM education. Evaluating the event, Project Coordinator and ETÜ Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Daştan stated that they want to integrate the STEAM approach into the training provided for adults by various institutions in Erzurum: “We are talking about an integrated education approach in our STEAM Plus project. This educational approach is not only aimed at primary school, secondary school or high school students, but is an approach that appeals to individuals of all age groups, encompassing lifelong learning. It will be possible for adult individuals to adapt the competencies called 21st century skills to both their daily life and business life with the STEAM approach. In this way, it will pave the way for them to be more qualified and equipped while performing their profession, and the increasing lack of communication between generations will be prevented. In this direction, we have been working together with our project team for 2 years. We completed our field research, conducted case studies and prepared a curriculum. We will share with you the stage we have reached today and ask for your opinions on developing the project, and then we will share your opinions with you by reporting them. "I thank all of you for your participation and contributions," he said.
