Speaking at the opening of the program, Rector Bülent Çakmak stated that children had the opportunity to learn while having fun during the event and said: “Our MUCİTPARK Science and Idea Workshop carries out extremely important work for our children, who are our future. Here, our children are exposed to technology and science from an early age, accompanied by our instructors. At the 1st Stem Days we organized, our children concretized what they learned and produced excellent work in different fields. We are the students who succeeded in making it to the finals here today, and we wanted to come together with their families and share their success. I believe that our children will achieve very important things in the future and will remember their experiences here with a smile."
Speaking after Rector Çakmak, Coordinator Necip Nursoy stated that the event will continue and said: “More than 15 thousand visitors came to our 12 different experiment stands at the event we organized at MNG AVM on 3-4 June. We were very pleased with the intense interest. Among our 625 children, those who made it to the finals received training under the supervision of our instructors and did incredible work in the fields of Lego, Arduino, Mini Computer Game, Coding and 3D Modeling. 1st Stem Days will have a special place for us as it is the first. The smile on our children's faces is our greatest motivation and we will hold this event for the second time in the coming period and the event will continue to be a source of inspiration by bringing together the bright leaders of the future in the Stem field. On this occasion, I would like to thank our Rector, who is always with us, our Vice-Rector Ceren Sultan Elmalı, our team, MNG Shopping and Life Center Manager Mr. Bünyamin and everyone who does not leave us alone."
After the speeches, Rector Çakmak and his entourage gave the children their awards and took a souvenir photo.
