2022-2023 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held at Erzurum Technical University (ETU).

In the programs organized separately by the faculties, the graduation of many students who completed the departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Mathematics, Turkish Language and Literature, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Economics, Business Administration and Physical Education and Sports ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, Secretary General Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu, Deans, academics and families attended.

Rector Bülent Çakmak, who made the opening speech of the programs, stated that ETÜ proudly bids farewell to its 8th term graduates this year: “At the end of a challenging 4-year marathon, you are successfully graduating from our university. Therefore, first of all, I congratulate you. I congratulate your families and loved ones who have always stood by you and supported you in this success, and our teachers for their efforts. Sadness is inevitable in the nature of every breakup. However, we know that an Erzurum Technical University graduate is now an ETU graduate, even if he is far away, and has become an inseparable whole with his university. I would like to express with a clear heart to our very esteemed parents, that our primary duty in the education process, which we started with the slogan "Education begins with respect to the student", is to his family, To raise well-equipped, principled and qualified individuals who will be beneficial to their country and all humanity. Dear Young People, While you are practicing your profession after graduation, please make an effort to do your job in the best way, value people because they are human beings, make your position an occasion to serve humanity, not your ego, give your job justice, and be sought after, not seekers. In summary, dear friends, the purpose of life is not just to have a good job, make money, make a career, or have wealth. At the same time, it is to have values, to be principled and to be useful individuals to humanity. Life is very short and time is extremely precious friends; Then you have no time to waste living someone else's life. Don't let others suppress your inner voice. Most important, follow your heart and intuition. Be honest with yourself and do not compromise your principles. As I conclude my words with these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate you again on your graduation and wish you good luck and good luck in your next life.”

After the speeches, the students were given their graduation certificates and the students who ranked in their departments were presented with their plaques and gifts.

Graduation programs ended with the cap throwing ceremonies of the students and the taking of souvenir photos.
