Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Academic Board Meetings were held under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak.

Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı and Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu also took part in the meetings held to evaluate and exchange ideas on issues such as quota occupancy rates, academic studies, projects and social contribution activities, especially education and training activities in the 2023-2024 fall semester under the chairmanship of Rector Bülent Çakmak.

Rector Çakmak, who came together with deans, institute directors and academicians in meetings that continued throughout the week, listened to the demands of students and academic staff while receiving comprehensive information about the work carried out.

Stating that the meetings were very useful for determining the road map of the next semester, Rector Çakmak said: "We traditionally come together with our Faculties and Institutes to analyze our current situation and plan the next semester. We review the work done together and make an assessment of the extent to which we have achieved our goals. As a university, we continue on our way by improving every year. We must continue our work without slowing down in order to raise the name of our university to higher ranks in every field and think about how we can be more beneficial to our students. I hope that the outputs we have obtained from these evaluation meetings will help the spring semester to be more productive for both our academics and our students."
