On the occasion of the Ramadan Feast, a holiday program was held at Erzurum Technical University (ETU).
ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı and Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Secretary General Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu and many academic and administrative staff attended to the event held in Rectorate Foyer Area.
Speaking in the program, Rector Çakmak said: “We have come together to celebrate the Ramadan Feast. As you know, this holiday has been a sad one for us. We lost thousands of lives in the earthquake disaster. May God have mercy on them all, I wish my condolences to their relatives and our nation. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and fires occur from time to time in our country. At this point, we should review the measures we need to take in order not to experience such pain again. In this sense, I hope Eid will be beneficial for our country and the entire Islamic world and will be a means of new beginnings.
After his speech, Rector Çakmak celebrated one by one and chatted with the staff for a while.
