A conference named "Saying No" was organized in cooperation with Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ) Faculty of Health Sciences and ETÜ Young Green Crescent Club.

ETÜ Vice Rector Prof. attended the conference organized to increase the awareness of young people about addiction and to provide information about what needs to be done to overcome addictions. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, academicians and many students attended.

Prof. Dr. Prof., one of the faculty members of Atatürk University Faculty of Education, attended the program held at Muammer Yaylalı Conference Hall as a speaker. Dr. Ömer Yılar pointed out that the first thing to do in order to overcome addictions is to become aware of the problem, and shared information with the audience about common misconceptions about addictions, how addictions form, their harms and what needs to be done to protect against addictions.
