Rector Çakmak pointed out that 3 December World Disability Day is very important in terms of raising awareness about disability in society and contributing to the solution of the problems of individuals with special needs: “It is our duty to accept the existence of individuals with special needs in society and to make life easier for them. In line with our vision of being a barrier-free university, we build all our buildings and social areas on our campus with this awareness and make the necessary arrangements. In addition, we come together with our children with special needs and spend time together with this event, which we traditionally organize under the leadership of our Faculty of Sports Sciences. "I would like to thank our teachers and students for initiating such a meaningful and special event," he said.
