The 2022-2023 Academic Clothing and Awards Ceremony was held at Erzurum Technical University (ETU).

Robes were worn by ETU academics and the awards were given in the categories of Citation, Publication, Science, Project, Achievement, Publication in the Journal with the Highest Impact Factor, Educator of the Year, Young Researcher, Club Academic Advisory Award, Graduate Thesis Award and Rectorate's Special Award.

The ceremony held at Prof. Dr. Muammer Yaylalı Conference Hall was attended by ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu, academicians and administrative staff.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak took the podium to make the opening speech of the ceremony congratulated the academics who wore robes and received awards and said: “40 of our staff will receive awards this year in the program we organized to reward the achievements of both our academic and administrative staff. We see rewarding achievements as an important source of motivation. When we look at the award categories, we see that national and international rankings are taken into consideration. The achievements achieved provide gains not only at the individual but also at the institutional level. At this point, the successes of our academics both contribute to their personal careers and increase the recognition and awareness of our university. We are always proud of the achievements of our academic and administrative staff and strive to provide all the necessary support. "On this occasion, I congratulate all our staff who received awards and applied and wish them continued success".

The event, which continued with the robe-wearing ceremony after Rector Çakmak's speech, ended with the presentation of awards to the award-winning academics and staff.
