Erzurum Technical University (ETU) has been accredited for 2 years within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program implemented by the Higher Education Quality Board (YOKAK) with the aim of improving the quality in higher education institutions and contributing to quality assurance.
ETU successfully achieved accreditation for a period of 2 years as a result of its efforts within the Institutional Accreditation Program, which evaluates the processes of quality assurance, education, research and development, social contribution, and management systems of higher education institutions within the framework of the "planning, implementation, monitoring, and corrective action" cycle.
Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, the Rector of ETU, received the accreditation certificate from Prof. Dr. Erol Ozvar, the President of the Higher Education Council (YOK), and Prof. Dr. Umit KocabıCak, the President of YOKAK, at a ceremony held at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Itri Congress and Culture Center.
In his evaluation after the program, Rector Çakmak emphasized that ETU was accredited for the first time, stating: "Quality processes are extremely important for us. Since the day we took office, we have been continuing our work with this awareness. In 2023, we fulfilled the necessary conditions and applied to YOKAK, and we were accredited for 2 years. Our goal in the upcoming period is to obtain a full accreditation certificate for 5 years. I would like to thank all our personnel, especially our quality board, for their efforts in achieving this success."
