ETU and Erzurum Governorship Came Together to Develop Joint Projects

A Cooperation Protocol on National and International Grant Support Projects was signed between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and the Erzurum Governorship.

The signing ceremony of the protocol, prepared to ensure strategic cooperation and coordination in local, national, and international grant support projects, was attended by Governor Mustafa Ciftci, Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, Deputy Governor Ilyas 'Ozturk, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Huseyin Dastan, Director of the Technology Transfer Application and Research Center Assoc. Prof. Ismail Hakkı Korkmaz, and Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Emirhan Kula, a faculty member from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Within the scope of the signed protocol, cooperation between the two institutions will be established in projects contributing to Erzurum’s social and economic development in areas such as technology and innovation, tourism and promotion, agriculture and rural development, education, culture, arts, health, employment and entrepreneurship, environment, and energy.

The protocol will facilitate the effective sharing of knowledge, experience, and resources, ensuring the preparation, planning, execution, evaluation, and promotion of projects.

Commenting on the protocol, Governor Ciftci stated that they are expanding cooperation networks with universities in the city to enable Erzurum to benefit more from local, national, and international projects. He emphasized their goal of implementing high-value and high-quality projects.

Rector Cakmak expressed that ETU is open to collaboration with all stakeholders in the city and reaffirmed their commitment to providing all necessary support for the development of Erzurum.
