A cooperation protocol for TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival was signed between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation).
With the signed protocol, ETU is the academic stakeholder of the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST, which aims to increase Turkey's human resources trained in the fields of science and engineering and is organized with the slogan of a national technology move, in order to raise awareness and arouse interest in aviation, space and technology issues among children and young people. it happened.
Commenting on the subject, Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak expressed his satisfaction that ETÜ is among the academic stakeholders of TEKNOFEST: “We are trying to fulfill our duties and responsibilities in the best way possible in line with the targets set by our country. In this direction, we produce innovative and high value-added projects in order to contribute to our country's domestic and national technology move, and we try to instill a project culture in our students. With the protocol we signed, we are proud to be the academic stakeholder of TEKNOFEST, which we participated with our technology teams in the past years, as of this year. This year, 20 of our teams continue to work feverishly with their academic advisors. Report point averages of our 12 teams are quite high. Our teams work very disciplined. From electrical and electronic engineering to business, from molecular biology and genetics to computer engineering, our students from almost every department take part in the teams. I believe that we will achieve significant success in TEKNOFEST 2023, which is organized under the leadership of the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the support of important institutions and companies in Turkey.”
