Erzurum Technical University, Faculty of Sports Sciences faculty member Assistant Professor Cebrail Gencoglu was elected as a member of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) Training Committee.

In addition to being a member of the International Athlete Committee, which he has been active for five years, Gencoglu was elected as a member of the Education and Student Committee in the election held in 2024. The Education Committee is chaired by Dino Bolosevic from Croatia, and among the Committee members are representatives from Ireland, Singapore and Croatia. The committee's goal is to monitor WAKO's sports organizations and scientific developments, as well as play a supporting role in education.
