Re-appointed as the Rector of Erzurum Technical University (ETU), Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak received his mandate at a ceremony held at the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

Re-appointed to the post of Rector of ETU with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak was given the Rector's Mandate, Chairman of the Higher Education Council, Prof. Dr. It was given by Erol Özvar.

After the mandate ceremony,  YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and  Prof. Dr. A bilateral meeting was held between Bülent Çakmak. Stating that he was honored and proud to be deemed worthy of the post of Rector by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, he said, “The President of YÖK Prof. Dr. I would like to thank Özvar and YÖK members and everyone who trusted us during this process. In the last 4 years, we have tried to develop projects that will add value to our country, and we have made an effort to provide a qualified education to our young people. In the new period, we will put our unfinished projects into practice by building on this understanding, and we will continue to work with all our strength for our city and country.”

Chairman of YÖK Özvar congratulated Rector Çakmak and wished success in his new term.
