Erzurum Technical University (ETU) is strengthening the cooperation bridge with Yakutiye District Governorship and Palandoken District Governorship.

ETU, Yakutiye District Governorship and Palandoken District Governorship, who came together at the same table to carry out joint studies and increase the quality of educational services, signed a “Social and Scientific Cooperation Protocol”.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, Yakutiye District Governor Tuncay Kaldırım and Palandoken District Governor Yusuf Durani Dinc attended the signing ceremony held in the Rectorate Meeting Hall.

Within the scope of the signed protocol, it is aimed to increase the participation of women in social life, improve the living standards of disadvantaged women and develop solutions that make their lives easier by jointly conducting continuous education programs, seminars, conferences, trips, research projects and scientific studies between the institutions.

Following the signing ceremony, Rector Cakmak made statements regarding the protocol, drawing attention to the importance of cooperation and coordination on issues concerning society, and said: “One of the most important duties and responsibilities of universities is social contribution. In this regard, we have signed many projects in the process we left behind. We held consultation meetings with our stakeholders in the city and took part in many joint projects. Today, we came together with Yakutiye and Palandoken District Governorships and signed a new protocol to strengthen the place of disadvantaged women in society. Our application and research centers such as Women and Family Studies, Career Planning, Economic and Social Research, Psychology and Continuing Education and the Family Support Education Centers of our district governorships will manage this process in harmony. I believe that our protocol will have concrete outputs. On this occasion, I would like to thank our District Governors Yusuf Durani Dinc and Tuncay Kaldırım once again, and wish our protocol to be beneficial.”
