Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Library and Documentation Department was donated 2000 books by Hanifi Hancı.

Hanifi Hancı, a retired literature teacher, donated his personal library of 2000 valuable books to ETU Central Library, which is one of the most popular libraries in the region, and made it available to students and readers.

Rector Cakmak, who hosted the retired teacher Hancı and presented him a plaque, said: "Our esteemed teacher donated his library, which he established with years of labour, to our university. It was a very important acquisition for our library. It is extremely valuable that many rare works will be in the hands of our students. Our teacher's books will now be our trust. On this occasion, I would like to thank him once again," he said.
