A cooperation protocol was signed between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and Sahaed Technology University, which provides education in Iran.

The meeting held at the Meeting Hall of President’s Office was attended by ETU President Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak and Sahaed Technology University President Prof. Dr. Esniaeil Fatehífar, as well as the vice-Presidents and senior executives of both universities.

Within the scope of the cooperation protocol signed between the two universities, an agreement was reached on issues such as exchange of academicians and staff, exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, exchange of academic information and materials, participation in research activities and publications, participation in conferences and academic meetings.

Expressing his pleasure to host his guests in Erzurum, President Bülent Çakmak stated that he believes that the signed protocol will contribute to the development of the cooperation bridge between the countries and that both universities are an important step in sharing their knowledge, technical opportunities and cultural riches.

Wishing that the protocol would be beneficial for both universities, Fatehífar, President of Sahaed University of Technology, thanked President Çakmak and his team for their hospitality and conveyed his condolences for our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster that took place on February 6th.

After the meeting, President Çakmak, who took his guests to the innovation centers of ETU, High Technology Application and Research Center (YÜTAM), Kristal Entrepreneurship Center and MUCİTPARK Science and Idea Workshop, shared information with the Iranian delegation about the work done in these places.
