A significant step was taken with the signing of a cooperation protocol between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and the Northeastern Anatolia Development Agency on October 11, 2024, as part of the "Development Agencies Cyber Homeland Program." This collaboration aims to provide cybersecurity training to university students and conduct skill development activities in this field. The protocol is designed to meet Turkey's growing need for cybersecurity experts by raising students' awareness and supporting their career planning.
The training activities will be conducted both in-person and online, offering students in-depth knowledge and skills in cybersecurity. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be included in an internship program to further prepare them for the industry. The program will take place during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years, with the option for extension if deemed necessary.
