A cooperation protocol was signed between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and Bahri University, which provides education in Sudan.
The signing ceremony held at the Rectorate Meeting Hall was attended by ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak and Bahri University Rector Prof. Hatim R.M. Ahmed, as well as the vice-rectors and senior executives of both universities.
Within the scope of the cooperation protocol signed between two universities, an agreement was reached on issues such as exchange of academicians and personnel, exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, exchange of academic information and materials, participation in research activities and publications, participation in conferences and academic meetings.
Expressing his pleasure to host his guests in Erzurum, Rector Bülent Çakmak stated that he believes that the signed protocol will contribute to the development of the cooperation bridge between the countries and that both universities are an important step in sharing their knowledge, technical opportunities and cultural riches.
Wishing the protocol to be beneficial for both universities, Bahri University Rector Prof. Hatim R.M. Ahmed thanked Rector Çakmak and his team for their hospitality.
After the meeting, Rector Çakmak, who took his guests to ETU's innovation centers such as the High Technology Application and Research Center (YÜTAM), Kristal Entrepreneurship Center and MUCİTPARK Science and Idea Workshop, shared information with the Sudanese delegation about the work done there.
