Erzurum Technical University (ETU) organizes a trip for senior high school students in the city and provides information about campus life and departments.

The students, who are taken from their schools with the vehicles belonging to ETU, are brought to the campus accompanied by their guidance teachers, and they come together with academicians at the Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Sport Sciences and innovation centers.       

Within the scope of the excursion program organized to introduce the scientific, artistic, cultural and sportive opportunities at ETU to the students who will take the exam, senior high school students in Erzurum are shown on a tour accompanied by academicians for two weeks. Students, who receive information from their department teachers about the subjects they are curious about, both get away from the stress of the exam and have the opportunity to get to know ETU closely.

Stating that the event was very beneficial for university candidates studying in Erzurum, Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak: “We will host our candidate students at our university for 2 weeks. Our professors from all departments are very interested in young people. From our laboratories to our gymnasiums, from our entrepreneurship center to our living center, all the facilities on our campus are introduced to them. In addition, high school students can learn about our scholarship opportunities, domestic and international education programs and social activities. On this occasion, I wish success to all our candidate students, shortly before the exam.”
