The materials collected in the aid campaign launched by Erzurum Technical University (ETU) to meet the urgent needs of the disaster victims in the earthquake region and to provide the equipment needed by the teams carrying out the field studies set out to be delivered to the Erzurum Provincial Disaster and Emergency (AFAD) Coordination Center.

Blankets, tents, socks, caps, gloves, scarves, fleece, baby diapers, coats, flashlights, batteries, sleeping bags, thermal clothing, underwear, pocket warmers, wet wipes and diapers collected from the staff, students and citizens in the Rectorate building in a short time Such materials were sorted, packaged and loaded onto vehicles to be delivered to Erzurum AFAD Center.

Speaking about the aid campaign launched for the citizens who have been victimized in the earthquake region, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak stated that a lot of equipment was collected in a short time: “Our minds and hearts are with our citizens in the disaster area. We are doing our best to heal our wounds and meet the needs of our citizens. As of yesterday, our team, which we sent off from here, has also been involved in the search and rescue efforts. I hope we will get through this disaster together," he said.
