Erzurum Technical University (ETU) showed a superior performance in the Inter-University Muay Thai Türkiye Championship held in Antalya between 4-7 May 2025.

Three athletes representing the university achieved significant rankings after tough competitions. Furkan Daşdemir, a sophomore at the Sports Sciences Faculty Coach Education Department, won the gold medal in the +91 kilogram category, while Muhammet Enes Kanar from the same department won the gold medal in the 71 kilogram category. Ömer Suci won the bronze medal for the university in the 67 kilogram category.
