Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak attended the Democracy Watch held in Erzurum City Square as part of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Events.

Erzurum protocol and citizens participated in the event, especially the Governor of Erzurum Okay Memiş. Before the event, the Address of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Nation was listened.

The event, which started after the moment of silence and the National Anthem, continued with the recitation of the Holy Quran. The banner brought by the national athletes who participated in the "July 15 Martyrs' Commemoration Starboard Run" organized to commemorate the day was given to Governor Memiş.

While there were enthusiastic moments in the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Vigils organized with the participation of the Provincial Protocol, the relatives of martyrs, veterans and citizens, honor plaques were presented to the relatives of martyrs and veterans at the end of the program.
