Decision 12 / 02-) The letter of the Quality Coordinatorship on the draft “Quality Policy” of our university has been discussed in conjunction with the attachment dated 11.05.2020 and numbered E.4814.

Acceptance of the “Quality Policy” draft prepared by our University Quality Coordinator as follows (unanimously),

Our quality policy;

To become a respected world university that makes innovative, improvement-based plans based on science, ethical principles and law, without sacrificing basic values for qualified education, research and development, and service to society.

Within the scope of this policy, our University;

Education

* To implement students oriented education approach that prioritizes quality in education and training,

* Raising qualified individuals equipped with up-to-date information, effective communication skills, and social sensitivity,

* To design and update educational activities in accordance with the requirements of the age, technological developments, and national/international standards,

* Strengthening national/international collaborations in education,

Research

* Supporting interdisciplinary, innovation and entrepreneurship-oriented research that strengthens university-industry-public collaboration and producing high value-added R&D outputs that increase the welfare level of the society,

* To focus on research in the priority areas that our country and region needs, taking into account the trends in the world,

* Having faculty members who can renew themselves and have a critical perspective,

* To make an efficient and qualified oriented R&D environment in the university for all stakeholders by ensuring the efficient use of resources,

* To represent our country in the best way in the international arena,

Social Contribution

* Carrying out activities that contribute to the scientific, social and cultural development of the society,

* Developing effective and efficient social responsibility projects,

* To contribute to the solution of social and economic problems at local, regional and national level,

Administration

* To support the participation of internal and external stakeholders in quality processes,

* In the light of corporate principles, the units; internalizing the management and organization approach that enables them to work in a participatory, coordinated and high-performance manner; to provide a safe, healthy and peaceful working environment,

* Extending quality awareness at the institutional level,

* Being a university that is sensitive to social problems and the environment without hindrance,

* Adopts creating a culture of continuous improvement as a principle

was decided.
