The introductory meeting of the Digital Transformation Training Program, prepared with the cooperation of YÖK and CISCO, was held in Ankara in March. After this meeting, a certificate ceremony was organized for the academicians who successfully completed the training program initiated with the participation of academics from 24 different universities and with the contributions of the Middle East Technical University. President of YÖK Prof. Dr. CISCO General Manager Didem Duru, CISCO Corporate Social Responsibility Leader Habibe Açık, and rectors and academicians of participating universities attended the ceremony where Yekta Saraç made the opening speech. Dr. Merve Yıldırım, a member of the program and a lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering also attended and successfully completed the education with Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak.

Selected as a speaker among 63 academicians at the ceremony, Dr. Merve Yıldırım in her speech, emphasized the importance of this educational cooperation by addressing issues such as the necessity of education through digital platforms, the widespread use of digital certificate and diploma programs, meeting the need for technical experts in the sector, and ensuring the integration of students into sectoral life. At the same time these training will provide university students with  equality of opportunity between Europe, the US and Turkey.  Dr. Merve Yıldırım ended her speech by thanking everyone who contributed to the labor organization in the process of CISCO sides and Higher Education. We congratulate our teacher and wish him continued success.
