The President of the Council of Higher Education (YOK), Prof. Dr. Erol Ozvar, addressed students at a talk program held at Erzurum Technical University (ETU).

Prof. Dr. Erol Ozvar, who was in Erzurum to attend the Regional Universities Coordination Meeting hosted by Ataturk University, met with ETU students for a talk program following the coordination meeting.

The event, held at the Central Library Activity Area, was attended by YOK President Prof. Dr. Erol Ozvar, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, YOK Vice President Prof. Dr. Haldun Goktas, YOK Executive Board Members Prof. Dr. Naci Gundogan and Prof. Dr. Erol Arcaklıoglu, rectors of regional universities, academics, and a large number of students.

Speaking at the event, YOK President Ozvar expressed his great pleasure in being with ETU students, stating:
"We have made our second visit to ETU. In the time since our first visit, we have had the opportunity to observe that the university has made significant progress in our discussions. Even if only for a short time, meeting with you face-to-face is a great source of pride for me. I prefer to address university students as my future colleagues. I truly see it that way. Before me, I see friends who will be in our current positions in ten or twenty years. This is both an expectation and an assurance for us. In this respect, being with you is a unique opportunity for all of us."

Continuing his speech, YOK President Ozvar spoke about the efforts undertaken by YOK to improve educational and instructional activities and concluded his remarks with advice for students.

The program continued with Ozvar engaging in conversation with students and ended with a commemorative photo session with the young attendees.
