Work continues for the 1st call of the "BIGG Crystal" program for 2023, which is carried out with the partnership of ATA Teknokent A.Ş. and Sistem Global Danışmanlık A.Ş. under the management of Erzurum Technical University Crystal Entrepreneurship Center.

Entrepreneurs who apply within the scope of the Individual Young Entrepreneur Program (BIGG), which is carried out by ETU Crystal Entrepreneurship Center on behalf of TÜBİTAK and supports techno-entrepreneur-oriented business ideas, continue to be supported to eliminate the difficulties they may encounter in the process. While a total of 98 project applications were made within the scope of the call, which was open until 19 May, 50 business ideas were selected from the projects that were subject to the pre-evaluation process. A large number of trainings were given between 25 May and 3 June in order to facilitate the process and to print qualified projects for these business idea owners. One of the BIGG Crystal project partners, Sistem Global Danışmanlık A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Hüseyin Karslıoğlu and Member of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. Onur Balcı participated and shared extensive information about the ecosystem and the support to be provided with entrepreneurs.

Speaking about the process, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak: “We are trying to carry out the processes from idea to commercial product as a whole in our entrepreneurship center. In this process, we already provide open office, closed office and workshop support so that our entrepreneurs can bring their ideas to life. In addition, we have established a structure that will financially support the dreams of our own entrepreneurs and regional entrepreneurs by being the executive of an institution such as TÜBİTAK, which is the locomotive of this business. While carrying out this process, we have made and implemented our plans in order to qualify all our entrepreneurs in the region and to bring the entrepreneurs who have their feet on the ground into the eco system.
