Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak followed TEKNOFEST, Turkey's largest aviation, space and technology festival, held for the 6th time in Istanbul.

TEKNOFEST 2023 technology, science, aviation, flight shows, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, hosted by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and with the partnership of 117 institutions, including ETU, in order to develop new national technologies and increase national technology production in our country; It was the scene of various events with exhibitions, summits, workshops, technology competitions and award ceremonies.

Following the festival on site from the first day, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak expressed his pleasure to be a stakeholder in TEKNOFEST: “TEKNOFEST, which has been held every year since 2018, is a very valuable treasure for our country's future vision. 10 teams from our university have made it to the finals in various categories this year and are competing here. We were very pleased with the intense interest of children and young people in our stand. Our visitors experienced space simulation with virtual reality and chatted with their university brothers and sisters about the devices developed. In addition, we also discussed with both the rectors of our partner universities and the Azerbaijan Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Vilayat Valiyav, who came from our sister country, the possible cooperation between institutions in the upcoming period.
