Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak published a message on the occasion of Mother's Day. Rector Bülent Çakmak included the following statements in his message.

The most important member of the family, one of the smallest structures of the society, is surely mothers with their sacrifices. Our belief considers the concept of “motherhood”, which is the unifying and integrating element of family life, as a reflection of the concepts of compassion, compassion and sacrifice.

Our mothers, whose sole purpose is to raise their children in accordance with moral values and to bring in beneficial individuals to the society and the nation, have unpaid rights on us. Our mothers undertake important tasks in the construction of the future as symbols of patience and devotion. Maternal love is one of the most important feelings a child can experience. For this reason, it is known that children who grow up devoid of maternal love have difficulty in adapting to society. Hz. In a hadith of the Prophet, "Heaven is under the feet of mothers." His command clearly shows how much our religion values our mothers.

For this reason, we are obliged to show the necessary respect and love to our mothers and to do our part duly. With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate all Mothers on Mother's Day and wish them to live in a healthy, happy and peaceful way with their families.
