Erzurum Technical University (ETU) won 2 medals in the Turkish Universities Kick Boxing Championship organized in cooperation with the Turkish Kick Boxing Federation and the University Sports Federation (UNİLİG).

Vedat Ağyürek, a 1st year student at ETU Faculty of Sports Sciences Coaching Education, who defeated all his opponents in the Kick Light category in the Kick Boxing Championship, hosted by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University between 9-10 May 2023 with the participation of athletes from 36 universities, won the gold medal in the 69 kg category. Ferhat Canyurt, who shed sweat at Kick Light 63 kg, brought the bronze medal to Erzurum.
