Under the TÜBİTAK 1812 Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Programme (BiGG
Investment), new Implementing Organisations have been selected to serve entrepreneurs by
running Phase 1 Acceleration Programme activities during the 2026–2028 period. Within this
scope, the BİGG Kristal project, led by the Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Kristal
Entrepreneurship Coordination Office, has been awarded support.
ETU has obtained the right to be an implementing organisation on behalf of TÜBİTAK with
the BIGG Kristal project submitted to TÜBİTAK, which is run by the ETU Kristal
Entrepreneurship Coordination Office and in partnership with ATA Teknokent A.Ş. and
Sistem Global Danışmanlık A.Ş.
Within the scope of the BİGG Kristal project, unique, effective and applicable support
mechanisms will be established to enable aspiring entrepreneurs with technological and
innovative business ideas to transform their ideas into qualified business plans. Throughout
the programme, entrepreneurs will benefit from acceleration activities, mentoring support
and business model development processes. At the end of the process, entrepreneurs who
demonstrate sufficient success will be referred to panels conducted for TÜBİTAK evaluation.
The TÜBİTAK 1812 BiGG Investment Programme aims to prepare early-stage, technology and
innovation-focused start-ups for investment, mobilise private sector and public resources,
and strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in a sustainable manner. In this context, the
supported BİGG Kristal project will undertake critical tasks such as running acceleration
programmes for technology and innovation-focused entrepreneurs, providing mentoring
and business model development activities, and preparing them for investment processes.
