According to the results of the 2024 Higher Education Institution Exams (YKS) conducted by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center (OSYM), Erzurum Technical University (ETU) achieved an occupancy rate of 96.2%.

ETU, which has drawn attention with its strong infrastructure and qualified staff, as well as its scientific, cultural, social, and sports activities, reached full occupancy in the Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Faculty of Sports Sciences during the YKS exams held on June 8-9, 2024. Out of a total quota of 826, 795 students were eligible to register at ETU.

Commenting on the topic following the announcement of the placement results, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak noted that ETU's upward trend in recent years continues, stating: "I sincerely congratulate all the students and their families who chose our university and were eligible to enroll. After a difficult marathon, they have achieved their goals. They are our children and our future. During their four years here, they will be our most valuable trust. They will graduate with beautiful memories and individuals equipped to meet the demands of our time. On this occasion, I once again congratulate the new members of the ETU Family and wish them a future full of success."
