Students from Erzurum Technical University (ETU) achieved an important success by winning first place in the BEİNG-WISE Capture The Flag (WG1), an international cybersecurity competition.

The team named “DELİLER”, which included Computer Engineering students Özcan Ersan and Oğuzhan Yılmaz from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Erzurum Technical University, competed in the contest together with Emir Buğra Erdoğan and Taceddin Sancak. The team demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the competition and achieved first place.

The competition covered advanced fields of cybersecurity such as cryptography, reverse engineering, web security, binary exploitation, steganography, and digital forensics. After successfully completing the qualification round, the team outperformed all other competitors during the main competition stage.

As a result of their first-place achievement, the team earned the right to participate with full sponsorship in two separate training schools organized by BEİNG-WISE.
