Erzurum Technical University (ETU) students, as guests of TRT Erzurum Radio, made statements about the project that made it to the finals of the Design & Construct International Steel Bridge Competition organized by Boğaziçi University and the campus life at the university.

In the 16th Design & Construct International Steel Bridge Competition organized by Boğaziçi University BÜYAP Club, ETU, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Civil Engineering 3rd year students Hilmi Karadayı, Emirhan Nuri Bektaş, Ayça Genç and Alpay Soysal details the bridge project they developed. shared.

Stating that the entire project was created by them in ETU laboratories, the young people said that they first made the sap2000, autocad, sketchup and tekla calculations and then completed the drawings of the project.

ETU engineer candidates who said that they named the bridge inspired by National Athlete Naim Süleymanoğlu stated that the durability of the bridge was tested in the laboratory environment with utest steel drawing machines and it was quite durable.

Stating that they are one of the 13 teams qualified to participate in the final to be held on the Boğaziçi University Campus between 8-12 May 2023, the students stated that the evaluation will be made according to the installation time, the amount of deformation under load, aesthetics and originality, and that they want to return to Erzurum with the best grade.

After the Bridge Project, the 2nd year students of Engineering and Architecture Faculty Yakup Erzengin and 3rd year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student Berkay Kocaaliler, who were guests of the studio, gave information about the sports, cultural and artistic activities offered to the students at the ETU Campus.
